Five intrepid archers from the club ventured forth to compete in the Western Dragon Field Challenge over the long weekend. The 2 day field shoot had plenty of challenging targets and even more challenging trails to reach them. Despite this all our archers came back with medals.

Dale Noonan – 1st Open Men Barebow Recurve
Stuart Pilcher – 1st Open Men Recurve
Scott Seymour – 2nd Open Men Recurve
Jon-Paul Van Loenhout – 3rd Open Men Compound
We also collected the trophy for the 1st placed team entry which had to consist of a compound, recurve and barebow or longbow archer. Well done to JP, Stuart and Dale.
